Writing Style & Artificial Intelligence

I know. These don't really seem to go together. But strangely enough, the artificial intelligence tools available now can really help if you have a great story idea but no idea how to start OR don't consider yourself a very strong writer.

There's plenty of advice out there about writing style if you want to master this skill. The resources below can get you started.

You'll notice, though, that we have no playlists or how-to guides for A.I. This is because the tools and their capabilities are changing LITERALLY day by day. It would be impossible to keep up. Rather, we included some really great channels with hosts who post all the time so you can find the tools that benefit your goals the most.

Writing Specific Tools:

  • Novelcrafter: Helps organize and structure your story as you write it

  • Sudokuwrite: Similar to novelcrafter with a few other strutural features related to storycraft

  • Authors A.I.: A useful post-writing editing and craft structure tool.

A note about paid subscriptions: Be careful about purchasing long-term plans with any of these companies. It's early days and competition starts to intensify, they may merge with other companies or go out of business entirely. Try free versions or month to month if you're unsure about the tool's future.
