Writers as Readers

Everyone will tell you a key part of success as a writer is to be a good reader.  But reading in a way that benefits your writing is a specific skill and finding the right books can be tricky.  Below are a few resources I've found to help me expand my range so I can learn from others to improve my writing.

Remember you can always just peruse the shelves of your local bookstore or ask your public library if they do 'book bundles'.  This can be an excellent way to get librarians' suggestions on other authors you might enjoy!  Best of all, both methods are free!
